My weight loss journey has been an experience that most can relate to however never talk about the impact it truly has on the mental psyche. I have always been an active person who loves to live a life of adventure from hiking the Grand Canyon, walking 15+ miles a day exploring a European town, skiing mountains in Utah or Scuba Diving with Manta Rays in Hawaii. I hate to sit still and unlike most people I get so much enjoyment out of exercise and moving my body.

Right before covid I had gained roughly 30 pounds due to life stressors such as work and establishing unhealthy eating habits. I kept telling myself one cheat meal or drink will not ruin everything I did in the gym or tomorrow I will eat healthy.

I decided I could not live that way and started making healthy changes and over the last 2.5 years I was exercising and on a meal plan and it was working but not the way I wanted it to. I was getting stronger however the scale was going up and I was pushing my body to a point of exhaustion. I would be so sore that I could barely walk or move and I was in a lot of pain. On top of that I was pushing myself to a new level from a cardio perspective sometimes running 2-3 mi, biking outdoors 12 mi and swimming 1250 m plus lifting for an hour all in one day. I was being very strict with my diet which made it even more difficult to enjoy time with friends and family. I was so limited on what I could eat which resulted in me being miserable when I would go out to eat with friends or family.

I was also being told that I must not be doing everything correctly and that there is something you’re missing or that maybe you just don’t have a body that can be toned and lean or its just your genes. I was beyond frustrated – I was depressed, angry, and truly felt broken and honestly felt like I was going crazy.

On top of that I lost most of my self-confidence and didn’t realize I was slowly killing myself with a lifestyle that was unsustainable. Out of frustration and not feeling good about myself I dropped my calories to 700 – 1000 a day and yet I was still not losing weight. Out of total despair I reached out to Reenie and explained to her my whole journey. I broke down crying and told her I am pretty sure my body is completely broken and I will never be able to have the body I want.

She assured me that I was not broken and that she thought she could help guide me on the right path that I had been working the last 5 years to get too. I had to trust her and after the last years I was ready to do whatever she said even if it was eating things I did not like. Well to my surprise – I did not have to eat things I did not like or workout for 2+ hours a day. Reenie truly changed/saved my life and I will forever be grateful for her. She upped my calorie intake right away, reduced my strength training and asked if I wanted to continue to do cardio (I said yes because it is a mental stress reliever for me). After 1 week we saw my body lose weight. After a month I was down 5 pounds and I had a life again! I no longer felt broken but I was scared…. I was scared that everything could reverse in a second and the weight would come back on however it has not. Reenie has guided me on a path that is sustainable and works with my constant need to travel and take adventures! I can enjoy eating with friends and family because I am not scared that if I have a nibble the scale is going to skyrocket.

During Christmas my conversation with Reenie went like this – I ate a lotttt of cookies! Haha Way more than I definitely should have. Well despite all those cookies staying on track with my exercise regime and meal plan consistency paid off because I only gained a 1-2 pounds over the holidays and within in a week my weight was right back down prior to the holidays.

I can never thank Reenie enough; she came into my life when I needed her the most. I was on the verge of truly ruining my body with my unsustainable lifestyle and now I feel more confident than I ever could’ve felt! I still have goals I want to achieve and a body look I want to reach and we are slowly chiseling our way there! The biggest win has been the mental changes and self-confidence I have gained while working with Reenie.

I thought that hiring a fitness coach would teach me how to do macros and how to get my body back and that was it. I was so wrong. Hiring Coach Reenie changed my life forever.

Yes, I learned how to do macros and how to get my body back, but it did not stop there.

I learned that I don’t have to feel hopeless and helpless.

I learned that I don’t have to be trapped in a body I don’t want to live in.

I learned that the journey is fun, and the finish line is not everything.

I learned to enjoy eating out with my family and still enjoying what I saw when I looked in the mirror.

When I met Reenie, I was at a very low place.

I had just had major surgery and felt terrible. I was sleeping about 2-3 hours a night because my health was so bad. I felt like I was 85 years old going on dead.

McDonalds was my best friend, and it was nothing to devour 2-4 liters of Dr. Pepper a day and spend $300 a week there.

My life is so different now. Who would have thought that 16 weeks would change my life forever.

Now, I am unstoppable.

Now, I am in control.

Now, I have my life back.

That is what hiring a fitness coach is all about- if you hire the right one!

Reenie has helped me so much stay on track and focused.  Losing weight and maintaining weight has always been a struggle for me. I was totally clueless on nutrition and training plan when I reached out to Jason. I would google workouts and pretty much hope I was doing the right things for my competition and wrestling. The smartest thing I’ve done in this journey was ask Coach to help me. He took the guessing game away and replaced it with phenomenal plans. Easy to follow instructions and helpful tips. He checks in on me regularly. Even now years later he’s more than just a coach. More like a peer or mentor and family. He pushes me in ways that I didn’t even think I could be pushed. Reached amazing results and obtained tremendous goals. Working with Coach has been an amazing journey. We’re not done yet, more great things to accomplish!

Reen has been absolutely incredible to work with to reach my physique goals through nutrition! She was first recommended to me by a friend because I wanted to lose 5-10 pounds for my wedding. I wasn’t a “heavy” person, but I didn’t know a lot about what I should be eating and just wanted to be healthier overall so I could look and feel my best. Four months into working with her, I was down 15 pounds! Reen then taught me about reverse dieting which is truly a sustainable way to live. I feel like I’m able to eat so much food!

My main problem before working with Reenie was eating well during the week and then giving everything up on the weekend. I would repeatedly do that week after week and wonder why I wasn’t losing weight. I also had no idea how to accurately set my macros up or change them as I went. I was eating way too much food compared to what I eat now to lose weight and when I wouldn’t lose I would eventually give up. 

I have had the best experience. I am no where near perfect with my eating but over the past months I have continued to lose and learned how to make it a lifestyle. I’ve had goals along the way and still do but it has been nice to gradually lose and keep the weight off rather than doing a drastic loss. Reenie has been there for me every time I’ve wanted to give up and in all of life circumstances outside of eating as well. She has made me a better person in all aspects of my life.

I have recommended reenie to multiple friends. I always tell them how much I love that she makes meal plans for me and that I still get to pick the food with suggestions on good options. I’d say she is always there whenever I have a question and to teach me every little thing. She pushes me to be better and holds me accountable when I mess up and I know it. She is one of the best coaches I have ever had and I can’t wait to see where I’m at when I finish.

First Time Mom

I reached out to Reenie when I was 5 months PP. I was at a low point with my health and really struggled with controlling my eating. She created a custom meal plan that helped me see changes in my body and also kept me full and feeling amazing and created an effective, structured workout program that fit my busy schedule as a new mom. She checked in with me during the week and constantly cheers me on! I love our weekly check ins where she makes adjustments and gives me the best feedback! Reenie was my BEST YES and BEST investment. Although I only worked with Jason for a short time he was able to transform my phsyique. I had to pull out from my competition prep due to past health issues. Jason was fully supportive, and always has his client’s best interest at heart. Jason has made me feel like family. With previous coaches I hadn’t had the best guidance. Jason gave me the guidance I needed. His attention to detail is unmatched, and he makes things so simplified and easy it was so refreshing. I have had issues with my gut in the past and to help improve these issues he added things in that would only benefit me and my body with the restrictions I had. Jason takes so much time to focus specifically on me and what we need with my goals to bring the best package to stage. I know I could come to him with any questions and he would explain everything to me in depth and break it down for me to understand. I didn’t feel like I was just a number or just a client. The amount of effort he put in to making sure I had the best plan and care is unmatched. He cares so much about his clients and he only wants to bring out the best in them not just with the food and workouts, but also mentally. Life changing, mind changing!

I reached out to Reenie after several months of feeling like I had plateaued with my body’s response to my workout routine.  Working out has always been part of my life and essential to my mental health, but I felt frustrated that I couldn’t get rid of my “mom” pouch.  I was also struggling with horrible indigestion that resulted in several medications per day and possible future surgery to control.  

Reenie was so incredibly instrumental in helping me understand my workouts, MACROS, and what MY body needed to respond and achieve MY goals.  She created a customized plan that was sustainable and not just a fad.  I LOVE my new workouts and feel absolutely incredible after making some minor adjustments to my food choices.  I am 6 months into my new habits, am more toned than I was as a college athlete, and am no longer looking at a surgical intervention.  I have had so many compliments from colleagues, friends, and family asking – what are you doing??  My response, I am doing and eating what I LOVE

I had been struggling to lose weight. I worked out regularly, but found myself in a bit of a rut; it was like I had hit a plateau. The holidays were coming up in a few months, and I knew it would conflict with what I was going through. I was able to get in touch with Reenie, and she not only helped me lose weight but maintain the weight loss through the holidays. I asked her for recipes for different desserts and meals and she was able to give me great ideas! 

Reenie taught me new things about nutrition, my health, and my body that greatly helped me on my journey. Reenie asked me to track what I ate over the course of a week, then she taught me how to track my macros. We worked together in unison to get more of a meal plan, also while tracking nutrition, protein intake, and delicious meals.  Reenie’s help made me healthier and happier. When you put good things into your body, you feel good about yourself. 

The most important thing I appreciated the most from Reenie was the constant support. She always made me feel like I wasn’t on a diet, I was changing my lifestyle. She would check in on me as a friend versus as a client. Reenie also worked with me when I didn’t reach my goals for a day, we adjusted and kept moving forward. I highly recommend Reenie for all nutrition, workout, and lifestyle changes! Reenie put me on the right path to bettering myself!

I’ve been a client of Diamond Cut Physiques for a couple of years now and I can honestly say that I could have never put myself in the best shape of my life without them! As a competitor, I have been directed and advised to ensure success on stage including multiple first place awards and an over all award. I have reached heights that I never thought possible with my physique and I am currently training with Diamond Cut Physiques to achieve my ifbb pro card. I have no doubt with the help, dedication, and attentiveness  of my coach Jason, I will achieve my goals. The passion they have for their clients and the goals they are striving for, is unmatched!
